writing something for someone

ELEVEN CUTE QUESTIONS

http://rekspoursout.wordpress.com left one message on my blog post some days ago .I was just not getting time to answer those eleven expected questions.Well here it goes Favourite book? I really do not read many books.Not even course books.Yet taking accounts till date I must go with Paulo Coelho's manual of the warrior of light. Simply framed lines with ideas wrapped like frappe . I extracted three words from this whole book "hope" "faith" and "love".And I believe the most in these three words. And then the author illustrates the meaning of failure is such a lucid fashion "   I carry with of the marks and scars of battles - they are the witnesses of what i suffered and the rewards of what i conquered" # Anyway The argumentative Indian should be the next. Three Favourite Indian movies? 1. Anand for the way it established the crude meaning of life and its underlying philosophies . 2. Silsila for its poetic connectivity and e

SAHIR LUDHIYANAVI : a diary entry to this birthday boy

I should pay my heartiest tribute to two versatile and authentic element of society that introduced Sahir's literature to me. The first must be Amrita Pritam , as she narrates her romantic realism with Sahir Ludhiyanavi in her autobiography 'revenue stamp' still lying on the tidy corner of my study table.She narrates her honest desire for Sahir when  her son questions one day whether he was Sahir's son.She further mentions how she would collect the cigarette butts discarded by Sahir,relight them and smoke the aura and touch of this poet. As she writes There was a grief I smoked in silence, like a cigarette only a few poems fell out of the ash I flicked from it (Translated by Jennifer Barber and Irfan Malik). And the second element that widely introduced me to this sayar is my earnest love for literal cinema.By literal cinema I exactly mean everything taking from Guru Dutt's pyasa to Yash chopra's silsila and kabhi kabhi  .Sahir is spread like aroma of roma
