Note of thanks and etc.

Thank you .
Thank you people for your wishes and care .Special thanks to those whatsapp audios ,inbox messages , inbox poetry and every little things.In last two decades I have been witness of all sort of metamorphosis that society has gone through.
Its 4th february today ;being celebrated as saraswati puja in larger parts of the country.There has been quite an obvious change in puja celebrations in this country .One of my friend from ludhiyana called me today and they don't celebrate it , not at all .When I was a kid I remember my uncles and people in my proximity used to celebrate it with such an outstanding valor and courage .They used to put barrage on roads , collect chanda , order for the idol making according to collection amount .Finally it used to be a hot shot two to three day celebrations ; I used to put all my books there in the vicinity of puja mandap. In last five to seven years these things have completely dried off.Yet Bengal has always been epicenter of cultural etiquette .Atleast one structured way of saraswati puja celebration is still maintained.May be one of the most casual reason I see here is people's expression for celebration never dies in bengal.Puja is not just restricted to puja here ; it literally means the advent of spring .Its rare you see , guys and girls with authenticated kurtas and salwars paying puspanjali in your vicinity at 8.30 am .

Since last ten years 4th february has grown up with facebook .As facebook turns ten today ; the debate on priorities and role of social media in daily life has heated up.Debates are necessary .

Thats all from the desk .

सर्द छटेगा, कभी तो बसंत आएगा |
Thank you.My ageless  and priceless thanks to one and all for the message of happiness you shared with me today...by choice or by chance.

KERALA TOURISM :DAY 2 and ALLEPPEY BACKWATERS

May be because " It's always our self we find in the sea.”   or may be because the strong analogy water hold with life as it goes on irrespective of whatever it dissolves ...or may be the inductive serenity , You never get tired of water . “It is life, I think, to watch the water. A man can learn so many things.”  ―  Nicholas Sparks ,  The Notebook Comfort ,freedom, an aura of redemption and the sunny rays reflecting back from waves ,kissing my cheeks and knowingly or unknowingly melting the sun cream ...I have never expected more than this from nature . The day with Alappuzha/Alleppey was precisely a floating day  :Six good hours of boating across Alleppey backwaters . And it all began like this    The panoramic view of back waters taken from boat    Coconut trees have its own charm."And the kerala coconut beer is a must try, its sumptuous in taste and cheaper than kingfisher "said one resident. Anyway it w...

KERALA TOURISM : namkeen paani and day 1

                Before I start putting the glances of god’s own country as they say ,that train journey extended over  the span of 48 hours deserves a firm mention . The worst part of story was : no pantry car ,that simply means food was an issue and was like a setback to foodie people .People were racing between the halt time of train bringing something and something as its good to have something than nothing .And the best part of the story was : Chinua Acheyba . I was rushing through his cult classic magnum opus “ things fall apart ” till end of the journey before I completed it . And when ever I passed by a lingering line ,it was a time to take a break and discuss. "When the moon is shining the cripple becomes hungry for a walk." Anyway the breaks  were variably filled by playing cards, sleeping and of course arguments. Prolixity has never been alien to this country . You just need t...
