one(1) two(2) ka four(4)

Some of my colleagues must be quivering "et tu ...."
Yes, I am  and I am among the late reflector to take on the so smartly called, seditious section of our constitution, that is considered to be a sagacious brain child groomed during its initio under the tutelage of Dr prasad ,and Dr Ambedker .
Yes I am and I am talking about section 124-A,Indian penal Code.

I wonder if some day some quiz master will frame "what is common in Mahatma Gandhi,Tilak,Dr binayak sen,Arundhati Roy  and the latest Aseem Trivedi ?"
yes, its section 124-A.

one of the sample cartoon by Aseem Trivedi.
Section 124-A talks in a very simple language.
124A. Sedition.— Whoever, by words, either spoken or written, or by signs, or by visible representation, or otherwise, brings or attempts to bring into hatred or contempt, or excites or attempts to excite disaffection towards.the Government established by law in [India], shall be punished with [imprisonment for life], to which fine may be added, or with imprisonment which may extend to three years, to which fine may be added, or with fine.

Well sometimes it smells of a draconian culture of lawmaking that persisted during British raj.It appears to be a contrast keeping freedom of speech/freedom of expression in mind. And the most abrupt question that peeps in my mind is "why this section is still as it is, why this kolaveri di...?"

Arundhati Roy in a seminar on aazadi :the only way said
"In papers some has accused me of giving hate speeches.....pity the nation that has to silence its writers for speaking their minds."
Why Arundhati Roy ,the tug of war between this section and the rest has a perennial history.Tilak ,Anni basant .M.K.Gandhi ..and the list continues...every one has faced this. And there lies the Irony .A law that was used against nationalists ,was drafted, signed and licenced to be the statute part of our constitution by more or less same nationalists.Even Pandit Nehru positively stated "so far as i am concerned that particular section is objectionable and obnoxious, and it should have no place both for practical and historical reasons."
I hope someday Mr Aseem Trivedi will confirm Pandit ji, that sir its still there .

Well that's history
a part of politics ...
or a set of lies....
negotiated ,sharpened,agreed upon...
Well that's history
use it ...
quote it...
refer to it...
wait..
never learn from it.

Well coming back to Mr Trivedi ,and his cute cartoonie scandle_______
I have jotted some interesting pros and prospers out of this case.Sample cartoons of Mr Trivedi ,which is available at www.cartoonsagainstcorruption.blogspot.in seems to be thought provoking.Well what intriuged me most was the perspective of cartoonism. Its a matter of surprise ,why they always use art with negative approach to hit the sentiments.why so dark media mannerism? I remember a question that Dr kalam asked in one of his famous speech."why our media is so negative? so embarrassed  to quote our achievements!...........Dr Kalam continued with one of his experience .." I was in Tel Aviv once and I was reading the israeli newspaper.
It was the day after a lot of attacks and bombardments and deaths had taken.
place. The Hamas had struck.
But the front page of the newspaper had the picture of a Jewish gentleman who in five years had transformed his desert into an orchid and a granary. It was this inspiring picture that everyone woke up to. The gory details of killings, bombardments, deaths, were inside in the newspaper, buried among other news."

The success of life lies in laws of attraction, attraction that is emblematic of positive think tank.Lets hope for metamorphosis of media mannerism.Let our freedom of expression ,express out our achievements.Let our freedom of speech put every line dedicated to the service of the nation.

good night.
ohf i just missed out the title justification. The title symbolically indicates the metaphore of draconian phenomena.for every mistake of degree one or two, the punishment offered is of degree four.

KERALA TOURISM :DAY 2 and ALLEPPEY BACKWATERS

May be because " It's always our self we find in the sea.”   or may be because the strong analogy water hold with life as it goes on irrespective of whatever it dissolves ...or may be the inductive serenity , You never get tired of water . “It is life, I think, to watch the water. A man can learn so many things.”  ―  Nicholas Sparks ,  The Notebook Comfort ,freedom, an aura of redemption and the sunny rays reflecting back from waves ,kissing my cheeks and knowingly or unknowingly melting the sun cream ...I have never expected more than this from nature . The day with Alappuzha/Alleppey was precisely a floating day  :Six good hours of boating across Alleppey backwaters . And it all began like this    The panoramic view of back waters taken from boat    Coconut trees have its own charm."And the kerala coconut beer is a must try, its sumptuous in taste and cheaper than kingfisher "said one resident. Anyway it w...

KERALA TOURISM : namkeen paani and day 1

Before I start putting the glances of god’s own country as they say ,that train journey extended over  the span of 48 hours deserves a firm mention . The worst part of story was : no pantry car ,that simply means food was an issue and was like a setback to foodie people .People were racing between the halt time of train bringing something and something as its good to have something than nothing .And the best part of the story was : Chinua Acheyba . I was rushing through his cult classic magnum opus “ things fall apart ” till end of the journey before I completed it . And when ever I passed by a lingering line ,it was a time to take a break and discuss. "When the moon is shining the cripple becomes hungry for a walk." Anyway the breaks  were variably filled by playing cards, sleeping and of course arguments. Prolixity has never been alien to this country . You just need t...
